Clinic Physician
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides primary care to patients within the clinic following accepted standards and protocols.

Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act,?(“The Unity Bill”) this position is considered a “Safety-sensitive position. “Safety-sensitive” is defined to include “any job that includes tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others.” Employees working in “safety-sensitive” roles are subject to this exception and subject to disciplinary action in the event of a positive test for marijuana or its metabolites.
Job Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent, emergent and non-urgent presentation.
Select, order, perform and interpret tests, analyses and diagnostic images.
Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patients.
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and injury.
Explain procedures and discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart including follow-up notes.
Provide compassionate and respectful patient care, take personal responsibility for appropriately coding and billing for care rendered.
Deliver exemplary care and act in a legal and ethical manner.
Maintain clinical productivity consistent with peers and industry standards for a similar setting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Oklahoma medical licensure
Current D.E.A. and OBNDD

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be exposed to some hazards such as radiation, bodily fluids that may contain disease, and fumes from laboratory chemicals. The employee may be required to travel frequently.
