Job Title: Electrical Test & Debug TechnicianLocation: Milpitas, CA (100% Onsite)Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)Pay: $32/hour (2nd shift adds shift differential pay)Job Type: Full-time | Contract-to-Hire | Permanent Benefits: Insurance (Health, Medical, Dental), Paid Holidays, PTO, and More!Overview:We are seeking a hands-on Test Technician to support production of high-performance computer systems (Cerebrus platforms). This role is focused on system-level testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis within an advanced electronics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong component-level debugging skills and experience supporting computing or AI-related hardware in production.Key Responsibilities:Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of computer systems and electronic assembliesConduct failure analysis (FA) to identify root causes and implement corrective actionsSupport production by resolving technical issues quickly to minimize downtime and yield lossWork across system levels, including hardware, firmware, and basic software configurationExecute test procedures, burn-in processes, and validation protocols to ensure product qualityConfigure systems, including firmware flashing, hardware connections, and system setupDocument technical issues clearly and communicate findings to engineering and customersCollaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams on process improvementsAssist with new product introductions (NPI) and test process developmentSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, reliability, and efficiencyRequired Qualifications:3+ years of experience in electronics, computing, or AI product manufacturingStrong hands-on experience with product testing, debugging, and failure analysisAbility to troubleshoot at the component and system level (not just board swapping)Basic understanding of circuitry and ability to interpret schematicsExperience working in a production environment supporting high-volume manufacturingProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) for documentation and reportingAbility to clearly communicate technical issues both verbally and in writingStrong teamwork mindset with willingness to support and mentor othersPreferred Qualifications:Associate’s degree (AA) or higher in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related fieldExperience with AI hardware, servers, or high-performance computing systemsFamiliarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic toolsExperience with firmware flashing, system builds, and disk array configurationWork Environment:Manufacturing floor environment supporting electronics and computer system productionHands-on role requiring use of tools, test equipment, and handling of small componentsAbility to sit, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs as neededAdditional Notes:Immediate interview availabilityHigh-impact role supporting advanced computing products in a fast-paced environmentStrong opportunity for long-term conversionQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
