Tooling Engineer Location: Boulder, COJob DescriptionAnalyze product geometry (CAD) from Product design team Collaborate with Design Engineer to develop tooling and fixture design conceptsCollaborate with Test Engineer to develop testing fixtureDesign and create tooling / fixture CADRelease CAD to the vendorCollaborate with the vendor through the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) processPerform First Article Inspection (FAI) upon receipt of the toolingRequired Qualifications:Demonstrated experience in the design of tooling and molds (ie. injection moulding)Strong 3D and 2D CAD skills (NX, SolidWorks or ProE/Creo preferred)Practical knowledge of manufacturing principles.Team-oriented individual who is willing to contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
