OverviewThis position will shape and direct end-to-end hiring efforts across a large U.S. retail organization, with emphasis on a flagship concept and future growth initiatives. The role oversees how talent is identified, engaged, and brought into the business across both field and office-based teams, with a focus on delivering a consistent and thoughtful experience throughout the hiring journey.This person will balance long-range planning with day-to-day execution, creating practical hiring structures that can grow with the business while supporting a fast-moving and creative environment.What This Role Will OverseeHiring Direction and Team LeadershipSet the overall approach for attracting and securing talent across multiple business areas and team types.Advise senior leadership on headcount planning, movement of internal talent, and broader people-related decision-making.Work closely with business leaders to align staffing plans with expansion goals and operational priorities.Lead and develop a recruiting function that values strong execution, partnership, and accountability.Selection Process and Hiring ApproachBuild and oversee thoughtful hiring methods that reflect the company's identity and expectations.Create consistent evaluation practices to support strong and equitable hiring decisions.Review and improve recruiting workflows based on business needs, talent market conditions, and candidate feedback.Put in place scalable, efficient, and structured ways of working across the hiring lifecycle.Use digital tools and automation where helpful, without losing a people-first approach.Talent Attraction and Market PresenceStrengthen visibility as an employer across store and office talent markets.Support ongoing pipelines for key operational leadership and business-critical positions.Apply a range of outreach approaches to connect with both active and passive talent.Build external relationships that expand reach and improve access to varied talent communities.Candidate Journey and Transition into the BusinessPromote a high-quality and relationship-driven experience from first contact through offer stage.Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from hiring into onboarding.Provide guidance and tools to help interviewers and hiring leaders assess talent effectively.Insights, Delivery, and Operational SupportUse hiring data and talent trends to monitor progress and inform decision-making.Evaluate hiring outcomes over time to identify opportunities for improvement.Oversee external partner usage and related spending tied to hiring activity.Bring strong organization, communication, and follow-through to all recruiting initiatives.
