Job SummaryOur Financial Services client is seeking a Program Manager to join their growing team! This role is needed to provide PMO Support and Program Management for projects in the Global Family Office Technology Program. The Program Manager is responsible for leading the project team to deliver the agreed upon goals, objectives and business benefits while controlling and monitoring the project’s scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core ResponsibilitiesEnsures that the project adheres to Project Standards, which incorporate PMI standards, I.T. controls, risk and regulatory requirements, and Northern policies and procedures, throughout the projectResponsible for establishing and maintaining the project team assembled for the project with the right skill sets and experience in place to ensure the success of the projectEnable a “no surprises” project cultureEstablish the project governance structure with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and resource assignmentsIdentify and communicate skill sets needed of the project team resourcesResponsible for identifying the appropriate parties who must sign off on each project artifact that requires a sign offCreate and maintain the project plan throughout the life of the project that reflects the work that needs to occur to support the delivery of the project’s goals, objectives, and business outcomesActively manage project risks and issues ensuring that the owners of those risks and issues are addressing them in a timely mannerEscalate in a timely manner to the appropriate party(ies) to address decisions needed, the removal of roadblocks and other obstacles or constraintsManage stakeholder expectationsResponsible for managing to the requirements management plan (requirements traceability and requirements change control) for the project consistent with company standardsFacilitate discussions across the various teams involved in the projectEstablish and executes against the project’s communication planCommunicate the status of the project and reflects the status across the scope, schedule, budget, and resource perspectives. Articulates key risks and issuesPartner with stakeholders to plan for and manage project resourcesDirect, manage, and motivate the project teamEnsure Statements of Work are being fulfilled by vendors participating on the project (if applicable)Facilitate and execute the project closure activities, e.g., lessons learned report, post implementation review, close the financial reporting and formal turnover of the support to production support and operationsRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)Experienced in leading technology projects and leading teams to execute highly complex initiatives of significant scope, scale and risk to successfully deliver project objectives and benefitsProgram/project management expertise including working knowledge and application of SAFe Agile methodologySkillful in adopting corporate project management standards (which incorporate PMI standards), IT controls, risk and regulatory requirements, and SDLC requirementsStrong Office proficiency: Excel, MS Project, Powerpoint, etcExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to drive plans forward, easily process information from various sources and simplify the complexStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership capabilitiesPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)PMPExperience at large financial services firms a plusConsulting experience also a plusKey Competencies & BehaviorsCross-Functional CollaborationProject and Timeline ManagementStrategic Thinking and CommunicationAttention to DetailAdaptability and Problem SolvingWork EnvironmentLocation: Chicago, ILHybrid: Work Model: Hybrid - onsite 3 or more days/week, as neededAnchor days: Tue/Wed/Thu - Work Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm CSTCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: The approximate pay rate for this position is between $55.00 and $65.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
