This role will focus on developing robust backend services using Python, building responsive front-end applications with Angular, and integrating cloud-native solutions within AWS environments.The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applications that support data-driven business operations and analytics initiatives.Analyze and translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions using Python and Angular frameworksDesign, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs leveraging AWS services and cloud-native technologiesDevelop responsive and performant user interfaces using Angular while ensuring accessibility and optimal user experienceImplement comprehensive testing strategies including unit, functional, and performance testing to ensure application reliability and qualityArchitect and optimize application infrastructure for scalability, performance, and maintainabilityParticipate in peer code reviews and technical design sessions while promoting engineering best practicesSupport CI/CD processes and deployment automation using modern build and deployment toolsTroubleshoot production issues and provide operational support for enterprise applications and servicesCollaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders across the software development lifecycle5+ years of professional programming experience with Python3+ years of front-end development experience using Angular or similar modern frameworks3+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application developmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experienceStrong expertise in Python, object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patternsExperience building modern front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, or related technologiesExperience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIsUnderstanding of software testing methodologies including unit, integration, functional, and performance testingExperience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as pip, npm, Maven, or similarKnowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL or MySQLFamiliarity with version control systems and Git workflowsExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerExposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code conceptsUnderstanding of secure coding practices and application security fundamentalsExperience deploying and supporting full-stack applications in cloud environmentsFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologiesHybrid work environmentCollaborative, fast-paced engineering cultureOpportunity to work on scalable enterprise platforms and modern cloud-native solutionsWelcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
