Non-Clinical - HR Associate

Human Resources AssistantHuman Resources AssistantDuration: 27 weeksShift: 5x8.0Hours of Operation: M-F 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunchAnswer phones on the main HR line and direct calls accordingly.Assemble and file new hire packets.Meet with new hires to collect onboarding documents.Manage the HR email account.Print termination packets for distribution.Maintain HR filing.Print and assemble orientation packets.Perform other duties as assigned.Respond to all incoming telephone calls to the department's main telephone number.Courteously answer the telephone and identify self.Screen incoming calls and direct them to appropriate personnel when necessary.Readily offer assistance to individuals and employees who visit the department.Address questions or concerns and refer to appropriate personnel if unable to answer.Complete and submit verification of employment documentation within the established timeframe.Respond to employee requests for information regarding leave of absences.Provide explanations of leave types available to employees.Determine leave eligibility and communicate timely to employees in writing regarding the status of requests for leave.Ensure timely return of certification and leave of absence request documents.Review forms for completeness and accuracy.Notify employees of errors and omissions and assist with completing forms as needed.Inform managers when employees are approved, extended, or recertified for leave.Include guidance to managers regarding policy while on leave.Create and maintain employee leave files.Maintain a summary report of the status of all employees participating in an active or intermittent leave.Ensure employees submit timely payments for benefits during a leave.Collect, track, and negotiate payments due.Recommend cancellation of benefits due to non-payment per guidelines.Complete State Disability, Short Term, and Long Term Disability claim forms as needed for employees on leave.Maintain an adequate supply of brochures and packets related to various leave of absences.Prepare and maintain a variety of reports on a bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis.Ensure all reports contain accurate information for areas of data responsibility.Prepare a wide variety of employment-related correspondence.Ensure all correspondence is clear with no errors in the final draft.Prioritize and manage time effectively.Show initiative and refrain from non-work-related activities.Communicate any circumstances that compromise the integrity, confidentiality, or safety of the organization and its staff.Benefits include:Medical, dental & vision insurance401(k) with employer matchFree and unlimited continuing education units (CEUs)Disability insurance24/7 dedicated Care Line and clinical liaison supportPersonalized career consultant and "single point of contact" serviceIndustry-leading pay rates, loyalty rewards & referral bonusesFree tax return assistance for travelersJob Board Disclaimer By applying for jobs on this website, you consent to receive daily messages from CYNET about assignments that match your profile.
