Our studio works with a variety of clients to produce visually engaging podcast content using multi-camera setups, live switching, graphics, and real-time production workflows.We combine broadcast-level technology with a collaborative team environment to deliver polished, professional shows for creators, brands, and media personalities.Role DescriptionSin City Podcasts is seeking a Part-Time Technical Director / Video Switcher Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate live switching equipment during podcast recordings and live streams, managing camera cuts, graphics, overlays, and media playback in real time.This position requires someone who can work confidently in a fast-paced live production environment, collaborate with audio engineers and production managers, and help ensure each show runs smoothly from start to finish.Interns and entry-level candidates with basic video production knowledge are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesLive Production & SwitchingPerform live camera switching during podcast recordings and live streamsIntegrate and mix video sources such as cameras, screen captures, and media playback in real timeExecute show elements including intro graphics, lower thirds, overlays, music, and sound effectsManage live production timing and help maintain the run-of-show for client recordingsShow Setup & Studio OperationsConfigure and update show templates and production layouts for returning clientsMaintain and modify graphics packages and show builds as production needs changeAssist with overall studio workflow and ensure equipment is functioning properlyCollaboration & Problem SolvingWork alongside audio engineers, production managers, and studio staff to deliver high-quality productionsTroubleshoot technical issues quickly during live shows or recordingsContinuously learn and understand the studio’s production systems and workflowsBasic Camera OperationYou may be asked to assist with basic camera adjustments including:FramingZoom controlFocusISO adjustmentsPreferred Technical ExperienceExperience with the following tools is recommended but not required:OBS StudiovMixBlackmagic ATEM SwitchersBitfocus CompanionFender Studio 1 ProYouTube streaming tools and softwareAdditional Skills (Bonus)Video editing experience is a plusFamiliarity with live broadcast or podcast production environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in live production scenariosIdeal CandidateBasic understanding of video production and live streaming workflowsComfortable working in a team environmentStrong troubleshooting ability under pressureWillingness to learn studio systems and production processesPassion for media production, podcasting, or broadcasting
