Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Manager oversees client assessments, care planning, and ensuring compliance with home care regulations. The Nurse Manager also leads continuous quality improvement efforts, evaluates staff performance, and fosters a culture of excellence in customer service. Additionally, the role collaborates with the coordinators to optimize scheduling and staffing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of Certified Nursing Assistants
Coordinates all home care services and perform initial assessment of current and prospective clients, determining client care plans and appropriate care and services.
Supervise the implementation, coordination, maintenance, evaluation and termination of care plans and services.
Ensures that Menders by Lenbrook is in full compliance with all appropriate local and state rules and regulations.
Supervise services provided by Menders by Lenbrook through the completion of on-site client visits, and participation in personnel evaluations.
Ensures orientation of new staff and in-service educational programs is appropriate for staff.
Review and maintain CNA client narrative summaries.
Conducts regularly scheduled in-service education programs.
Assumes on-call responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
Current State of Georgia Registered Nursing license
Good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing
Minimum 5 years experience in geriatrics/long-term care
3-5 years of leadership experience
1 year of marketing experience preferred
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
Current Driver's License
