Finance Business Systems Analyst

Job Description The Panther Group is hiring a Finance Business Systems Analyst for a short-term consulting opportunity supporting a leading university environment in Boston, MA. This is a hybrid role with 2 days on-site in Boston. This role will focus on supporting Workday Finance operations, enhancements, troubleshooting, and business process improvements across multiple finance stakeholder groups.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workday Finance professional who enjoys partnering with business users, solving complex system issues, and supporting enterprise finance applications in a collaborative environment.Please Note: There is no Visa sponsorship available and no C2C / subcontracting for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier-2 functional support for Finance teams using Workday Finance and related systemsTroubleshoot system issues, identify trends, and support resolution of defects and enhancement requestsGather and document business requirements from Finance stakeholdersTranslate business needs into scalable Workday Finance solutionsConfigure and maintain Workday Financial modules based on operational requirementsSupport the full software development lifecycle including:requirements gatheringtestingconfigurationdeploymentend-user supportLead meetings with business stakeholders and cross-functional teamsEscalate critical system issues and production defects as neededProvide reporting and updates on enhancement requests, issues, and project statusPartner with IT teams on integrations, implementations, and system support activitiesAssist with testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for system updates and enhancementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–5 years of hands-on Workday Finance experience requiredStrong experience supporting:Workday Financial Data Model (FDM)AccountingBankingFinancial business processesExperience gathering business requirements, writing use cases, and supporting testing effortsStrong understanding of system enhancements, defects, and support processesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with:Workday ProjectsWorkday Adaptive PlanningWorkday ReportingExperience supporting enterprise Finance systems in higher education or large enterprise environmentsPrior experience working with integrations and cross-functional IT teamsPay is $70 - $89 per hour Depending on experience #ZRITCompany DescriptionWe are the experts in Human Capital.
