Multiphysics Simulation Engineer

This is 100% onsite role in Fremont, CA 94538. Regular shift M-F.We are seeking a Senior Multiphysics Simulation Engineer to support the design and optimization of semiconductor equipment and components. This role combines traditional CFD/FEA simulation with surrogate modeling, reduced-order modeling, machine learning, and digital-twin development.ResponsibilitiesPerform thermal, fluid-flow, and structural simulations for design validation and optimization.Conduct CFD and FEA analyses involving heat transfer, gas flow, stress, vibration, and structural response.Develop surrogate models, reduced-order models, response surface models, and simulation-acceleration tools.Build digital-twin frameworks using simulation, test, operational, and sensor data.Automate simulation workflows, design-of-experiments studies, model training, and optimization.Perform sensitivity analysis, uncertainty quantification, calibration, and model validation.Present simulation results and recommendations to cross-functional engineering teams.Required QualificationsM.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.Strong proficiency with ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Mechanical, STAR-CCM+, Simcenter 3D, or similar CFD/FEA tools.Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, numerical methods, and model validation.Experience developing surrogate models, reduced-order models, response surface models, or similar approaches.Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, or equivalent scientific-computing tools.Experience with 3D CAD platforms such as Siemens NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.Preferred QualificationsExperience with digital twins, physics-informed machine learning, HPC or cloud simulation, automated parametric workflows, and semiconductor equipment is preferred.Our Client is a Fortune 350 company that engages in the design, manufacturing, marketing, and service of semiconductor processing equipment.
