Senior Java Full Stack Technical Lead
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Technical Lead who is highly hands-on and capable of leading technical architecture while continuing to write and review production code. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architecture, Apache Camel, cloud-native technologies, and modern frontend development.This role requires experience leading and mentoring onshore/offshore engineering teams while remaining actively involved in development, architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making.Must-Have Skills• 8–10+ years of software development experience• Strong experience with Java 17+• Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud• Microservices architecture• Strong Apache Camel experience• Kafka and/or Apache Pulsar• Event-driven architecture and Enterprise Integration Patterns• REST APIs and GraphQL• PostgreSQL or similar relational databases• Transactional Outbox and reliable event-publishing concepts• CDC and Avro/schema management• AWS, preferably Amazon EKS• Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm• Terraform• CI/CD and Git/GitHub pull request workflows• Angular; React is a plus• Experience leading and mentoring onshore/offshore engineering teams• Strong hands-on coding and production code-review experienceStrong Plus• Hasura• YugabyteDB or CockroachDB / distributed SQL• Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, or Confluent• Argo CD, Flux, or GitOps• Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or OpenSearch• OAuth 2.0 / JWT• CQRS / Event Sourcing• SonarQube / TDDKey Expectations• Lead technical architecture and design decisions• Develop and review production-quality code• Design and implement scalable microservices and event-driven solutions• Work extensively with Apache Camel and enterprise integration patterns• Mentor and guide onshore/offshore engineering teams• Participate in code reviews and establish engineering best practices• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical requirements and solutions• Remain hands-on with development rather than moving exclusively into management or architecture
