Professional Engineer - Project Manager (ENG3006)A growing structural engineering firm in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer to join the team as a Project Manager / Professional Engineer. This role oversees a team of one to three staff and is responsible for managing various structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, education, and renewable energy sectors.About the RoleThis role oversees a team of one to three staff and is responsible for managing various structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, education, and renewable energy sectors.Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year (DOE)Benefits: Health, vision, dental, 401(k) plan, 11 paid holidays (including one floating holiday), generous PTOResponsibilitiesLead and manage project teams, including engineers and draftersPerform structural analysis, designs, calculations, and detailingReview and interpret contracts, scopes of work, and change ordersEnsure projects are completed on time and within budgetMaintain strong communication with clients and internal teamsDrive project success through team motivation and technical oversightQualificationsBachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasisProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license in California – Civil or Structural5+ years of experience in structural engineering designProven project management or team leadership experienceExperience with structural calculations in residential, commercial, education, and/or solar sectorsProficient in AutoCAD 2015 or newer (2D), Enercalc, and RISAStrong skills in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and AdobeRequired SkillsStrong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communicationDetail-oriented with solid time management skillsCommitted to client satisfaction and project qualityMotivated to grow in a supportive and collaborative environment
