Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, including crisis management and behavioral health evaluations
Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate addiction counseling, child welfare support, and workforce development strategies
Provide crisis intervention services to stabilize clients experiencing urgent mental health or social issues
Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate behavioral change and enhance client engagement
Coordinate with community agencies on programs such as Section 8 housing, Medicare, and other social services
Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns to ensure quality service delivery and professional growth
Document all client interactions accurately in compliance with confidentiality standards and agency policies
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent) with relevant state certification
Proven experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavioral health settings
Strong background in addiction counseling, child welfare, and social work principles
Skilled in motivational interviewing, mentoring, and supervising team members or interns
Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs, Medicare regulations, and workforce development initiatives
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations empathetically
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
