As a Cabana Server you are focused on providing exceptional Guest service to our most premium level of guests. Exceptional Guest service entails being fast and efficient while still maintaining safety, being Texas-friendly, being accurate, and having great personal integrity and responsibility. Our Cabana Servers will be Guest service driven, providing the highest level of personalized Texas-friendly table service which will include taking food and drink orders, keeping cabanas in a clean and orderly condition, be knowledgeable of the specialty drink, beer and food menus and general park information.Roles and Responsibilities:Greet all Guests with enthusiasm and a smileGreet and escort guests to their designated cabanaPower wash and reset assigned cabana sectionMaintain proper daily and weekly deep clean of assigned cabana sectionProvide excellent service to achieve guest satisfactionTake Guest orders and delivers food and beveragesOperate the register and Point of Sale System.Deliver checks and able to take forms of payment quickly and accuratelyKnowledgeable on all menu items, specialty cocktails, beer, and all liquor we carryAble to assemble menu items and serve to guestsComplete daily restock tasks assigned by leadershipID all Guest that look under the age of 35RequirementsDepartment Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderMust be open and willing to learn new thingsMust be flexible, adaptable, and a team playerMust follow all health department, TABC, City and County alcohol requirements and maintain a clean working environmentUnderstands and supports the Typhoon Texas CultureUses excellent judgementIdentifies problems and works quickly to find solutionsWorks effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional mannerHas excellent communication skills which includes the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language in interactions with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management This position may require you to work in other positions, locations, and/or departments on an ad-hoc basisMust be willing to complete all tasks given by Typhoon Texas leadershipIf you do not have a Typhoon Texas approved and current Food Handler's Permit and/or TABC Certification, you will be required to obtain one at your expenseGeneral Qualifications:May be required to stand for long periods of timeMay be required to lift at least 20-50 lbs.May be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rainMust be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work well with othersMust be able to communicate effectivelyMust follow all Typhoon Texas guidelines or policiesMust have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Permit/TABC
