For more Careage news, go to www.careage.comSummary of Responsibilities:Prepare a variety of fresh meals based on daily menus and the dietary needs of residents.Interact with residents on a daily basis to ascertain their views, suggestions and concerns on meals served at the direction of Food Service Director.Keep the kitchen clean, organized and fully stocked.Properly store, label and rotate food to maintain quality and safety standardsMaintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation.Adhere to safety and sanitary practices.Support teammates to keep the kitchen running effective and positively.Take pride in every plate that is sent out to ensure mealtime is a highlight for residents.RequirementsObtain and maintain a Washington State Food Handler's Permit.Must be dependableAble to lift 50 pounds unassistedMust be in good health and physically/mentally capable of performing assigned tasksMust possess knowledge of safe sanitation practices, safety practices and special dietsMust be able to work in Bellevue, WAAt least 1 year of experience working in a food service setting.Ability to follow recipes, read instructions and communicate in EnglishHave a willingness to learn and a positive attitude working with a team.Salary Description
