Rookie - Summer Internship

Step into the world of baseball with the Quincy Doggy Paddlers! We're seeking enthusiastic and driven college students to join our Spring 2026 "Rookie" Internship Program. As a proud member of the Prospect League, we offer our interns ("rookies") a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain real-world experience in the fast-paced environment of a summer collegiate baseball organization.Whether you're interested in sports management, event planning, marketing, or community relations, this internship gives you hands-on experience that will prepare you for a future in the sports industry.What You'll Do:As a Rookie, your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):Assisting with off-season team operations and planningSupporting community outreach initiatives and eventsCreating and scheduling engaging social media contentCoordinating ticketing and group outing communicationsParticipating in marketing and promotional effortsHelping with merchandise organization and fulfillmentCollaborating on special projects with the front office teamAttending team meetings and learning the inner workings of a sports franchiseWho We're Looking For:Students pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related fieldSelf-starters with strong organizational and communication skillsPassionate individuals who love sports and are eager to learnTeam players with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever neededAvailable to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends for eventsPerks:Valuable industry experience and networking opportunitiesCollege credit (if applicable through your institution)Doggy Paddlers gear and team accessThe chance to return for future opportunities with the teamA fun, energetic team environment that feels like a clubhouse, not a cubicle
