Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. This role is based in Lebanon, Indiana, and offers a dynamic opportunity to support customers while collaborating with internal teams. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:• Handle customer inquiries and service requests efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate communication with both internal teams and external customers.• Schedule and manage service appointments by creating detailed work orders in Salesforce.• Provide consistent updates to customers and internal stakeholders on the status of service requests.• Serve as a backup for departmental tasks, including scheduling and follow-up activities as needed.• Assist Crew Leaders in reviewing and processing non-billable work orders.• Maintain a foundational understanding of the machine tool industry and the products represented by the organization.• Perform various administrative and organizational tasks to support the department's operations.• 2-4 years of experience in customer service or a related industry role.• Previous experience in administrative tasks is highly desirable.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.• Effective verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.• Experience with call center operations, order entry, and handling inbound calls is a plus.TalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
