Sr. Mainframe Developer

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sr. Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems development, testing and implementation in a mainframe environment, and a passion for creating innovative and scalable solutions. The Sr. Mainframe Developer will play a key role in leading the development of our products and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest quality of our software products. Job Title: Senior Mainframe Developer Location: NCR (National Capital Region) with option for remote Base Qualifications: · US Citizen · Active DoD Secret clearance Detailed Qualifications: · 5-10 years supporting IT-related projects, preferably DoD and/or Army · Experience in an environment similar to ATRRS in terms of size and complexity. · Experience in OS/390 or Z/OS application development. Internet application development experience a plus. · Experience in IBM COBOL, DB2 (including stored procedures), CICS Transaction Server, and use of Z/OS operating system. · Experience in programming new system modules in both CICS Transaction Server and batch, running in a Z/OS environment that can be added to ongoing operational systems without any interruption of service to users. · Experience of sufficient scope and quality to be able to independently solve program malfunctions in a Z/OS environment. · Experience in the ability to debug programs and job streams being tested in various hardware/operating system environments. · Experience in executive software environments and hardware configurations and models. · Experience in the use of DB2 Connect and integrating with web-based applications.
