Secret Aviation Systems Engineer

Must Haves:Active Secret Clearance ABET accredited degree in STEM 5-8 Years of Experience supporting Navy Acquisition - 3 of these years being in DoD systemsExperience with Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes Experience working with data loadersExperience handling and understanding of data storage, data processing, and traceability requirements Experience Aircraft Data Busses (i.e. MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet) Day-To-Day: In this role, you’ll be a hands‑on contributor to the Navy’s mission of developing, integrating, acquiring, and sustaining common, protected avionics and electronic capabilities used across multiple aircraft platforms. Your work directly supports flight safety, mission effectiveness, and survivability of naval aviation systems. You’ll collaborate with government engineers, program teams, and industry partners to review, analyze, and validate aircraft data storage, retrieval, and processing solutions, ensuring they meet strict technical, airworthiness, and operational requirements. This includes working with systems that capture critical flight, mission, sensor, and maintenance data - data that supports everything from routine operations to mishap investigation and future system improvements
