We're looking for an Estimator to support our DCAMM (Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance) portfolio and help drive successful project outcomes from the very first cost model.In this role, you'll lead cost estimating efforts, manage the subcontractor bid process, and collaborate closely with project teams and leadership. If you enjoy solving complex problems, building strong industry relationships, and contributing to strategic growth, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.What You'll Do:Cost Estimating & AnalysisPrepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and timelinesReview drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scopeIncorporate workforce availability and standard cost data into estimatesMonitor estimating workload and provide updates to senior leadershipBid ManagementManage the full subcontractor and vendor bid processDistribute project documentation and specificationsCollect, review, and analyze bids for scope accuracy, quantities, schedules, and inclusions/exclusionsMaintain RFI logs and evaluate responsesIdentify scope gaps using bid-leveling tools and resolve discrepanciesNegotiate pricing and clarify scope questions with subcontractors and vendorsCollaboration & Project SupportWork with project teams to develop preliminary schedulesBuild and maintain strong subcontractor and vendor relationshipsEnsure adequate workforce capacity for current and future projectsBusiness DevelopmentPartner with BD/Marketing teams to prepare proposal submissions with accurate cost dataPresent proposals to senior leadership and participate in client interviewsSupport broader business development initiativesTeam LeadershipLead, coach, and develop the estimating teamProvide ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, and skill-building opportunitiesSupport training and professional development
