Weekend Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

Weekend Dog Walker We are currently looking for a weekend dog walker to join our wonderful team in the Washington DC area.Pet Sitters Responsibilities: Work weekends. Saturday and Sunday and holidays when needed - 10 am - 3pmEnter the homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 30- 60 minutes each)Walk pets as required from clients homes or at one of our daycaresPick up pets and take them to the daycareDrop off pets at home after a day at daycareWalk pets to the grooming salon.Communicate with clients and with management during visits.Appropriate pet clean-up as requiredPet Sitters Requirements and Qualifications: Must have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this roleMust be extremely detail orientedAble to follow detailed instructionsMust be responsible, reliable, and dependableMust be timely and punctualMust be able to self-managePossess excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be compassionate about animalsMust feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animalsMust be able to pass criminal background check
