Construction Project Coordinator
_*Job Description*_
MSC Earthwork is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team and support our Project Managers and field operations on earthwork, underground utility, and site development projects.
We are open to candidates at different experience levels. This could be a great opportunity for someone with a few years of construction experience who is ready to grow, or for an experienced Project Coordinator who can step in and take on a higher level of responsibility. Our focus is on finding the right person for the team rather than hiring for one specific experience level.
_*What You'll Do*_
· Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination from startup through closeout.
· Track schedules, materials, inspections, subcontractor activities, and outstanding project items.
· Prepare and maintain RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change order documentation, permits, inspection reports, and closeout documents.
· Coordinate material pricing, ordering, deliveries, vendors, and subcontractors.
· Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and clients.
· Assist with job costing, production tracking, change orders, and owner pay application information.
· Support utility coordination, permits, inspections, testing, and project closeout.
· Assist with estimating and preconstruction efforts, including quantity takeoffs, vendor quotes, bid documents, and project turnover.
· Help identify potential delays, conflicts, or project needs before they impact field operations.
_*What We're Looking For*_
· 2+ years of relevant construction experience preferred.
· Experience in heavy civil construction, earthwork, underground utilities, site development, or a related construction environment is strongly preferred.
· Ability to read and understand civil construction plans, specifications, and project documents.
· Understanding of RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, job costing, and construction documentation.
· Strong organization, follow-through, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
· Experience with Procore, HCSS, HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Bluebeam, Foundation, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, or similar construction software is a plus.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
