HR Business Analyst – Ceridian Dayforce (HCM / HRIS)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HR Business Analyst with deep Ceridian Dayforce expertise to support, optimize, and enhance HR systems and processes. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into Dayforce configurations, deliver actionable workforce insights, and ensure system accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.The ideal candidate is hands‑on in Dayforce, strong in data and reporting, and understands how HR technology supports the full employee lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDayforce System Configuration & AdministrationConfigure, maintain, and enhance Ceridian Dayforce modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Workforce Management, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, and PerformanceTranslate HR and business requirements into effective Dayforce configurationsSupport system upgrades, releases, testing, and ongoing enhancementsData Analysis & ReportingBuild and maintain Dayforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to support workforce planning and decision‑makingEnsure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across HR and payroll dataAnalyze trends related to headcount, turnover, time & attendance, compensation, and performanceProcess ImprovementEvaluate and optimize HR processes such as onboarding, payroll, timekeeping, performance management, and compensationIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system usabilityPartner with HR leadership to align system functionality with business needsSupport & TroubleshootingServe as the primary liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, and Ceridian supportTroubleshoot Dayforce system issues, data discrepancies, and integration challengesSupport end users through issue resolution, documentation, and process guidanceRequired Skills & Qualifications3–8+ years of experience in HRIS / HCM roles with hands‑on Ceridian Dayforce experienceStrong knowledge of Dayforce configuration, reporting, and administrationSolid understanding of HR operations, payroll, and talent management processesStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendationsExperience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting system changesStrong communication skills and ability to partner across HR, Payroll, and IT teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting multi‑module Dayforce environmentsExposure to Dayforce implementations, upgrades, or integrationsAdvanced reporting or workforce analytics experienceFamiliarity with compliance requirements related to payroll and HR dataBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
