Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with NICU experience to provide specialized care in a travel capacity. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate access to 250 miles of hiking and biking trails, White Sands National Park, Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks, and opportunities for ATV riding, hunting, and horseback riding.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit patientsMonitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progressCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plansEnsure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards of careProvide family education and emotional support within the NICU environmentRequired Qualifications and Experience:Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licenseSpecialized experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursingCompliance with state-specific certification and licensing requirements, including completion of required background checks and fingerprinting per New Mexico regulationsMust be located 60 miles or greater from assignment location to qualify as a travel nurseAbility to begin assignment with a 14-day waiver under supervision while background check is finalizedTravel Assignment Details:Orientation conducted weekly on MondaysThe assignment supports a travel nursing status with flexible work arrangementsOpportunity to gain experience at a Joint Commission Accredited hospital recognized for excellence in stroke and chest pain careCandidates interested in this rewarding travel nursing opportunity are encouraged to apply promptly to begin orientation.
