Controls Electrician/Panel BuilderGeorgetown, KYThe hiring company is a distributor of machinery and provider of installation services with a concentration on equipment for the automotive industry.This division is a Systems Integrator division which manages projects related to modification of machine-to-machine conveyor systems and design & fabrication of custom-made equipment to OEM and Tier 1 automotive manufacturing plants. We are seeking a full-time employee in which the candidate will be responsible for the control panel building, secondary wiring, and commissioning of various material handling control systems.ResponsibilitiesRead electrical blueprints, build, and wire various control panel components.Assemble control panels which include PLC, power supply, motor control and safety circuits.Maintain organization of Company Panel ShopDebugging equipment after fabricationSecondary wiring, Conveyor and Machine CellsRequirementsAn Associate Degree in a related field, or similar certification or on the job workApproximately 25% of travel is required (length varies with each project)At the company, we believe our success is as much a result of our employees as the products we sell.
