Position SummaryAssembly Operator is guided by assembly instructions and assembles part in jig using fastening hardware and air powered hand tools. Assembly operator is required to inspect product for Quality assurance.Essential Job FunctionsFollow safety and environmental proceduresCome to work everyday, on time as scheduledProficient communication skillsAccurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Compare parts to work instructions to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product qualityUse computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP systemKnowledge of various fixtures and jigs.Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep equipment running smoothly and reduce downtime.Examine parts during production process.Execute scheduling boardAbility to use motorized walking stackerQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to use quality inspection equipmentProficient and basic math and computer skills
