Lead Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC

Responsibilities
Supervise and direct onsite teams of 3–5 low voltage technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Manage daily project tasks to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
Oversee and perform installation, termination, dressing, and labeling of CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
Conduct cable testing using industry-standard equipment (Fluke or similar).
Punch down voice and data jacks, ensuring secure and reliable connections.
Install and terminate racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, and firestopping materials.
Interpret and work from blueprints, system layouts, and technical drawings.
Safely operate ladders and lifts of all sizes (must be comfortable working at heights).
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site as needed.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of hands-on commercial or industrial low voltage experience.
Proven experience leading crews or supervising installation teams.
Strong working knowledge of telecom and data network infrastructure.
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications highly preferred.
Manufacturer certifications are a plus.
Must possess basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
Willingness to travel to job sites within Myrtle Beach, SC as needed.
