Coordinate daily operations to provide a safe environment for students and staff, ensuring the community is confident in district safety. Patrol district property to protect personnel and visitors and prevent property loss. Special Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of overall operations of a police department. Ability to manage budget and personnel. Strong public relations, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to enforce all laws, including municipal/county ordinances and state laws. Proficiency in investigating criminal offenses and collecting/preserving evidence. Ability to write effective legal incident reports and testify in court. Skill in managing district crisis prevention and emergency operations plans. Ability to work collaboratively with campus administration on drug prevention, attendance, and character education.
