The role is hands-on and customer-facing, combining laboratory testing, engineering judgment, and technical communication to enable successful equipment selection, demonstrations, and customer adoption.Essential FunctionsPosition requirements include, but are not limited to:Conduct laboratory, pilot, and production-scale testing of customer materials using Fitzpatrick, Quadro and Matcon equipmentAnalyze test results and prepare clear technical reports and documentationServe as technical liaison between Customers, Sales, Engineering, and Product teamsSupport sales activities including demonstrations, presentations, and customer visitsExplain and demonstrate equipment operation, capabilities, and benefitsRemain current with industry trends, technologies, and customer processesSupervisory ResponsibilitiesN/AQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education And/or ExperiencePost-secondary education in Engineering (Process or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent2–5 years applications engineering experience (Applications Specialist)Hands-on experience with powder and liquid processing equipmentStrong communication, analytical, and customer-facing skillsTechnical applications support for powder (and in senior role, liquid) processing equipmentHands-on customer lab testing, sample evaluation, and technical reportingCustomer interaction, demos, presentations, and occasional travel (regional & international)Strong emphasis on engineering judgment, customer problem-solving, and communicationLanguage SkillsStrong written and verbal communications required.
