About the RoleThe Accounting Intern will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. This role will assist with data entry, account reconciliations, reporting, and general administrative support, while learning core accounting principles and processes.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Support: Assists the CFO and finance team with day-to-day accounting activities, including data entry, transaction processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.Accounts Payable & Receivable: Supports invoice processing, payment tracking, and basic billing functions to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.Reconciliations & Reporting: Helps prepare account reconciliations, update financial reports, and identify discrepancies while gaining exposure to core accounting processes.Month-End Close: Assists with month-end close activities, including organizing documentation and supporting financial data review.Administrative Support: Provides general administrative support to the finance team, including organizing files, maintaining documentation, and assisting with ad hoc projects as needed. QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s/ master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Previous internship, coursework, or part-time experience in accounting, finance, or business preferred.Demonstrated interest in accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment while learning and developing foundational accounting skills. Preferred SkillsProgress toward an accounting or finance-related certification is a plus.
