Mill Team Lead
Mill Team LeadSuit-Kote Corporation is currently seeking a Mill Team Leader.Safety Expectations: All Suit-Kote employees are required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit-Kote equipment employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the safety of the employee, co-workers and others.Responsibilities/Job Duties:Work with the Mill Supervisor on all aspects of production processes including adjusting run ratios for finished product/quality outcome. Making soaps. Lab testing.Keep a great and positive stimulating and promotes a teamwork environment.Help train new and current employees in all processing procedures/phases.Delegate Mill/Yard processes and report times in the absence of the MillRecord keeping on paper and/or computer of daily inspections. Run sheets.Fill out procedure forms for confined space entry, working form hot work and LOTO.Light computer uses with someOperate equipment... Forklift, Man Loader. Skid Steer.Maintenance tasks and mechanical duties (pumps, valves, etc.) activities in elevated heights and operating power tools (impacts, feeders, drills etc.)Truck loading and unloadingBulk Storage Tank cleaning (Confined Space Permits)Required Skills/Abilities:Reliable transportation to and from work siteStrong work ethicStrong math skillsPhysical organization and time managementFlexibility in hours - overtime and weekend hours may be necessaryPassing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conductedConsent to a DMV license evaluationMust have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10 Hour Safety CertificatePhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift 50 poundsObserve and comply with necessary PPE requirementsMust be able to work in a noisy area with many odors presentStretching, stooping, kneeling, crawling and squattingOther Preferred Qualities:Ability to read and understand SDSBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office)Position is considered full time, but seasonal in nature, with anticipated lay-off in the November thru March time-frame.
