Production Assembly

Job Description DELTA Fabricating is seeking a dynamic Production Assembly to join our growing team. Production Assembly is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces using hand tools and mechanical equipment consistent with a specified set of blueprints or schematics. This position also manages parts inventory needed and conducts quality checks on completed items.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduces components by assembling parts, subassemblies, tools, and other materials consistent with templates, schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructionsPositions/aligns components and uses hand tools and/or machines to assemble partsConducts quality-control checks, including examining connections for correct fit for all fastening parts and subassembliesVerifies specifications by measuring completed componentsCleans and maintains work area and equipment, including toolsCompetenciesTeamwork/CollaborationTime ManagementCustomer FocusTechnical Skills/Computer LiteracyAnalytical/Detail-OrientedRequired QualificationsHigh school diplomaMinimum of 6 months experiencePhysical DemandsProlonged periods of standing or sittingAbility to lift up to 50 pounds at a timeAbility to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlWork EnvironmentTypical production plant environmentBenefitsHealth InsuranceDental / Vision insurance401k + profit sharingPTO and paid holidays
