This locum tenens position offers the flexibility to build a personalized schedule, allowing you to contribute to exceptional patient care while managing your workload effectively. We welcome applications from physicians certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with relevant Emergency Medicine experience. You'll work collaboratively with a supportive team to ensure timely and efficient care for our patients. Schedule Flexibility & Work-Life Balance:Design your ideal work schedule, selecting from available shifts between 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, 12:00 pm - 12:00 am (midnight), or 4:00 pm - 2:00 am. Confirm your availability for 2-6 shifts per month to best suit your needs. Supportive Team Collaboration:Partner with nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for your patients. Advanced Technology & Resources:Utilize the user-friendly Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance efficiency in documentation and communication. Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates):We understand the importance of timely care and will work diligently to facilitate temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history (estimated timeframe of 30-90 days). Qualifications: Board-certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine, or Board-certified in Internal Medicine with 5-10 years of Emergency Medicine experience is required. Active medical license in Missouri (MO) only is mandatory. Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS are essential. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient urgent care or emergency medicine setting is preferred. The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
