Role: Java DeveloperLocation: Remote / LATAMDuration: 6+ Months Primary Skills : Java , Application SupportOverviewWe are seeking a skilled Application Support & Development Engineer to provide ongoing support and contribute to development initiatives. The role involves handling production support tickets, collaborating on incident resolution, and contributing to project-based development work when not engaged in support activities.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication SupportManage and resolve tickets (primarily P3 and P4 priority) for 2025–2026.Handle non-urgent support requests received viaPhoneEmailMicrosoft TeamsAzure DevOpsLog and document all support activities in SNOW and Azure DevOps to maintain a knowledge base for future reference.Participate in incident management and ensure timely resolution.Provide extended support beyond standard hours when working on active incidents.Development & Project WorkContribute to application development and enhancement tasks when not assigned to support tickets.Assist in migration, modernization, or project-based work as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones efficiently.Work ScheduleSupport Window: 8x5 model (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)Primary Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM CSTFlexibility required to extend hours during active incidents or critical support situations.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience in application support and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.Familiarity with ticketing systems (SNOW and Azure DevOps preferred).Strong documentation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple support channels simultaneously.Strong development experience in Java technologies and Angular is a plus.Ability to balance support responsibilities with development work.Exposure to AI-assisted development or migration projects is an advantage.
