Job DescriptionPublic Sector Delivery Manager - AI/ML ProgramsLocation: Washington, DC (Remote considered for exceptional candidates)Compensation: $149,000 - $223,000 base salary (plus bonus and equity and comprehensive benefits)MissionThis organization's public sector division is rapidly expanding to meet the growing demand for advanced AI and machine learning capabilities supporting national security. As a member of the Public Sector Delivery team, you'll be at the center of this mission-owning account plans, guiding technical execution, and ensuring customers achieve measurable success.You are both strategist and operator: a hybrid of customer success, program management, and technical problem-solving. You'll manage relationships from executive leaders to engineers in the field, ensuring seamless delivery of complex AI/ML solutions that drive real impact for defense and government partners.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage trusted relationships across all levels of the customer organization-from executives to end usersOversee operational planning and successful AI/ML solution implementation for assigned accountsLead or co-lead cross-functional project teams to deliver against customer AI/ML objectivesManage account health proactively, identifying risks and driving mitigation strategiesDevelop repeatable playbooks and delivery frameworks to scale success across customersPartner with clients to understand operational challenges and advocate for fixes or enhancements with internal engineering teamsEngage directly with customer IT and engineering teams, troubleshooting, training, and ensuring effective product adoptionQualificationsRequired:Minimum 5 years of total professional experience, including customer-facing roles in technical program management, professional services, or government program deliveryFoundational understanding of machine learning operations (MLOps) with a strong aptitude to master generative AI workflowsProven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and conciselyDemonstrated analytical and structured problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent collaboration skills and experience leading cross-functional initiativesStrong written and verbal communication; comfort managing senior-level stakeholdersWillingness to travel up to 25%Preferred:Active or prior Secret or Top Secret clearanceExperience in defense, defense technology, or AI companiesProficiency in Python, SQL, or similar programming languagesUnderstanding of enterprise IT and logistics use cases for generative AI within the U.S. governmentFamiliarity with IT compliance or cybersecurity tools such as Jira and ConfluenceCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary Range (Washington, DC): $149,000 - $223,000 USDEquity participation for eligible rolesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement benefits and professional development stipendGenerous PTO and parental leaveAdditional benefits such as commuter support or remote flexibilityWho You AreYou are motivated by mission impact and thrive in dynamic, technical environments.
