Operations and Campaign Analysis Intern

Build familiarity with key M&S environments and frameworks. Develop physics-based models to represent system performance and behaviors. Assist in performing verification and validation of simulation inputs, outputs, and results. Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program with 2 years completed, or master's program at an accredited university, pursuing a degree in engineering, mathematics, operations research, computer science, or similar field. 0+ years of experience with mission-level or campaign-level modeling and simulation and Operations Analysis principles. Strong performance in courses relevant to applied mathematics, physics modeling, critical thinking, data analysis, and/or statistics. Strong communication and ability to work in a team. Self-motivated and able to work independently with help from experienced team members. Willingness to learn and adapt in a multidisciplinary environment. U.S. Citizenship required. Eligibility and willingness to obtain a Secret clearance. Knowledge of modeling and simulation methodologies and tools (e.g. AFSIM, Suppressor, EADSIM). Ability to execute a study plan, considering both high-level goals and low-level details of the analysis. Experience in programming with Python, MATLAB, C, C++, Java. Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulations and related statistical methods. Some experience with Unity game engine and C# coding language. Knowledge of code versioning tools (e.g. Git, Mercurial, etc.). Secret clearance or higher. Clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance.
