Retail Sales: Vintage

ARCADE seeks to redefine the vintage retail landscape through the capsule collections we form in collaboration with vintage collectors, curators, and our community. Our storefront exists at the intersection of the fashion and arts districts in Downtown Los Angeles and is bolstered by our robust eCommerce shop. We are seeking someone to join our team as an in-store salesperson. In this role, an ideal candidate will support our team in the store's day-to-day operations with a focus on sales and customer service. They will assist in growing our eCommerce presence and sales, fulfilling online orders, and identifying and implementing new growth opportunities. They will contribute to an efficient workspace through general shop maintenance, upkeep, and merchandising. They will tell the brand's story through social media content creation. Applicants should be highly motivated and able to adapt to a rapidly shifting environment. There is an opportunity for growth for those passionate about eCommerce, virtual sales, and live trade show events. An ideal candidate will have some experience in retail, fashion, vintage, eCommerce, and/or social media. Responsibilities to include Open and closing of the store Customer service and sales - clienteling via email/social media, on the sales floor, and at tradeshows & markets Merchandising and seasonal floor changes Some travel may be required Weekend hours required Qualifications and Experience Experience in retail Vintage and designer knowledge and understanding is helpful Shopify or other eCommerce experience Fluency in social media Some knowledge of graphic design and image editing software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom helpful but not required Microsoft Office, Google Sheets Characteristics Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal guidance Must be passionate about customer service, styling, and building a client base Must be flexible with a changing work schedule Ability to work smart and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Job Types: Part-time Schedule: 8-hour shift Weekend availability Experience: Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Los Angeles, CA 90021 Compensation Hourly, at $20 per hour Work Remotely No. This is an in-person job Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Experience: Retail sales: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
