Thus, we're seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager who can take full ownership of our marketing strategy and execution, as our first dedicated marketing hire, building the function from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to shape every aspect of how we market, measure, and communicate our brand. This is a role for someone who thrives on autonomy, accountability, and measurable results —someone who is ready to fully own both planning and follow-through.In this role, you will be the architect and operator of the entire marketing process, from planning and budgeting to creative execution, analytics, and optimization. You'll define marketing goals, develop Planet Networks' brand marketing and growth strategy, design and run campaigns, track performance, and coordinate contractors or freelancers when needed. You'll be expected to blend strategic thinking with hands-on implementation: writing copy, analyzing data, helping determine budgets, and leading initiatives that directly impact customer acquisition and retention. You'll also collaborate closely with our sales team to evaluate the effectiveness of sales activities, identify data-driven opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment between marketing efforts and revenue outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of Planet's marketing strategy, budget, including priority channels most relevant to our current stageBuild and manage the company's marketing roadmap, including campaigns, promotions, and performance trackingBuild and manage campaigns, promotions, and hyperlocal acquisition programs tailored to each town we serveDevelop, optimize, and scale customer referral programsWork with our strategy and data team to apply statistical and econometric methods to analyze customer behavior, campaign ROI, and pricing elasticityDesign and oversee digital ad campaigns (Meta, Google, YouTube) including creative testing, offer testing, and audience segmentationImprove website and landing page conversion through A/B testing, UX adjustments, and content optimizationManage production of marketing materials—either in-house or through external contractorsDevelop dashboards and reports tracking CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and other KPIsPartner with sales leadership to analyze activity effectiveness and deliver actionable, data-driven insightsOther customer-acquisition related tasks as neededSkills & QualificationsCore skills and qualifications:4–8 years of experience in marketing, growth, or analytics rolesProven ability to independently manage end-to-end marketing functions (strategy, budget, execution, measurement)Hands-on experience building landing pages and performing conversion optimizationStrong copywriting and creative instincts for local and digital channelsStrong quantitative and analytical skillsExperience running and optimizing digital ad campaigns and tracking attributionExcellent communication, writing, graphic design, and project management skillsComfort working in fast-paced, high-independence environments where initiative is keyPreferred skills and qualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or Data ScienceStrong understanding of applied statistics and econometricsExperience with Python, R, SQL, Excel, BI tools, and/or other analytics tools for marketing insightsExperience working with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, etc)Familiarity with telecom, broadband, or other recurring-revenue industriesBackground managing freelancers, agencies, or local influencersSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionMarketing and SalesIndustriesTechnology, Information and InternetJ-18808-Ljbffr
