CT Technologist | 8-Week Epic Conversion

The EMR Migration Mission The permanent imaging team is preparing for a system-wide technology upgrade. Your primary objective is to keep daily scan volumes moving seamlessly: The EMR Reality: The hospital currently runs on Cerner, but you must have current Epic experience on your resume to support the facility's imminent conversion objectives. The Support Team: Work alongside a solid department footprint (9 Techs on Days, 5 on Weekends). A dedicated Department Transporter is on-site Monday–Friday (10:00 – 17:30) to handle patient logistics so you can focus entirely on scanning. Schedule & Departmental Call Structure Weekend Rotation: Expect to work either every other weekend or one weekend day per week. The Call Layout: Day shift positions typically cover Early Call (17:30 – 22:30)., Evening shift positions typically cover Late Call (22:30 – 04:00). Clinical Scope & Interventions Advanced CT Diagnostics: CT-guided drain placements and CT-guided biopsies. Ultrasound & Fluoroscopy Support: Interfacing with teams performing US-guided biopsies, fluid aspirations, paracentesis, thoracentesis, fluoro-guided Lumbar Punctures, PICC lines, and Myelograms. What You Bring to the Scanners Certification: Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) registries. EMR Mastery: Dual capability in Cerner and Epic is an absolute, non-negotiable requirement for this conversion track. Credentials: Current BLS (AHA).
