DevOps Engineer

DevOps / Release EngineerSeeking a DevOps / Release Engineer to improve deployment processes, build automation, and support reliable software delivery across multiple development teams. This role focuses on engineering scalable CI/CD solutions, improving cloud infrastructure workflows, and enabling development teams to manage their own releases.Responsibilities/skills:Migrate Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories to GitHub Actions while building reusable pipeline templates and deployment patterns.Engineer automated deployment solutions for Azure PaaS applications, including networking, identity, and secrets configuration.Build scripts, tools, and self-service templates using PowerShell, Python, and Bash to eliminate manual work and help development teams manage their own delivery.Troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and application deployments while improving release speed, security, and reliability.Qualifications:2-4 years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, or cloud engineering, with a hands-on software engineering mindset.Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and Azure PaaS services, including Function Apps, App Service, and Key Vault.Experience coordinating production releases across teams and deploying infrastructure,.NET applications, and Maven-based applications.Familiarity with Kubernetes and GitOps practices, preferably using Argo CD, with an understanding of Canary and Blue/Green deployment strategies.Willingness to support production releases starting around 9:00 PM Eastern, up to 2-3 nights per week. Release support is shared across the team.
