Principal Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Basic Qualifications of a Principal Software Engineer:Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline with 6years of related experience; Master's Degree with 4years of related experience; an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degreeCurrent TS/SCI access or current DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access and CI polyDemonstrated experience quickly learning new concepts and approachesExperience in higher level programming shell, or scripting languagesExperience with software development, the software lifecycle, building tools into a pipeline and processes (DevOps, Agile)Programming or scripting experience in a Linux environment (C++, Python, Perl, Git, Shell, Scripts)Proficiency in software development, software architecture, or systems engineering Preferred Qualifications:Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), to generate engineering artifacts for handoff to software developmentDesire to work across teams within the same infrastructureDesire to automate and improve existing processesDemonstrated problem solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and managementFamiliar with Agile Process/methodologies and DevOps techniquesHas lead transition from existing framework to modern methodologies
