Assistant Branch Manager / Sr. Assistant Branch ManagerSummary The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) / Senior ABM drives revenue, client growth, and candidate placement success by running a highly productive "full-desk" recruitment operation. This role combines business-to-business (B2B) sales, account management, and talent sourcing within a fast-paced, performance-driven staffing environment. The ideal candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of client fulfillment while actively expanding our local market share.What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days & Beyond)Pipeline Velocity: Build and maintain an active, fully vetted pipeline of top-tier candidates to ensure a sub-24-hour turnaround time on new job orders.Market Expansion: Consistently hit daily and weekly outbound sales KPIs to secure new job orders, expand the local client footprint, and capture market share.Fulfillment Excellence: Maintain a minimum 80% interview-to-placement ratio by precision-matching candidate skills and cultural alignment to client requirements.Account Retention: Conduct structured weekly quality control touchpoints with active clients and working candidates to identify new needs and maintain perfect retention.Branch Impact: Actively mentor junior recruiters on the team, sharing best practices to ensure the branch consistently hits monthly profitability targets.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Development & B2B SalesGenerate new business by targeting prospective clients and driving outbound lead generation.Secure detailed job orders, confirm alignment, and negotiate pricing/margins to ensure branch profitability.Guide both clients and candidates through the interview, offer, and onboarding stages with clear communication.Recruiting & Talent SourcingSource high-quality professionals using internal databases, ATS/CRM tools, job boards, and proactive networking.Interview, evaluate, and thoroughly vet candidates for skills, stability, and career goals.Coach and prepare candidates for interviews to improve presentation, reliability, and long-term placement retention.Operations & ComplianceMaintain meticulous, real-time documentation of all sales and recruiting activities within the ATS/CRM.Ensure all placement processes, background checks, and compliance steps adhere strictly to company and legal standards.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in agency staffing, full-desk recruitment, or performance-driven B2B business development.Track Record: A stable work history with a proven background in a commission-driven, quota-carrying, or high-volume KPI environment.Capabilities: Exceptional time management skills with a demonstrated ability to pivot quickly between sales calls and candidate sourcing without losing momentum.Tech Literacy: Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
