Process Engineer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Provide engineering support in multiple areas of manufacturing.2. Specify, develop, justify, implement, and sustain assembly equipment and materials.3. Improve quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of processes in accordance with strategic objectives.4. Apply statistical problem solving to identify root cause, evaluate new equipment and processes and process improvement activities.5. Interpret results and provide recommendations to management.6. Keep abreast of new developments in equipment, industry standards, be practices, and developments in assembly processes.7. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.8. Understand. Create. Simplify.9. Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsB.S. in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experienceTwo years' experience in process development in a related world class manufacturing companyAbility to lead a cross functional teamAbility to influence others and reach consensusProject management experienceAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitiesKnowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurementsEffective writing, documentation, and speaking skillsStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skillsAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitiesAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentBackground check results satisfactory to SELNegative drug test result(s)Preferred QualificationsThorough understanding of the materials used in the industryPhysical RequirementsNoneCompetitive pay. Starting pay is determined individually and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and training. Candidates may be considered at different levels based on their background.
