Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are looking forward to evaluating you as a potential employee.Position DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified applicant with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to join our team as a heavy equipment field mechanic. Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintenance and repair of a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, backhoes, & more .Job Duties:Basic job duties of a heavy equipment mechanic.Maintain various heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, graders, front end loaders scrapers, haul trucks and other miscellaneous equipment.Communicate with crew members and supervisors to ensure jobsite safety, production and quality standards are met.Some local travel may be required.Position RequirementsExperience and Qualifications:1 or more years' experience as a heavy equipment mechanic beneficial.Welding skills beneficial.Computer skills beneficial.CDL license beneficial.Other safety and/or technical training is beneficial.Owning your own tools is preferred but not required.Work Requirements:Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.Strict Adherence to safety requirements, procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.We require pre-employment as well as recurring random drug screening for all employees regardless of their role in the Company.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Physical Requirements:This position requires time spent walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and sitting.Applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to perform manual labor.Work Environment:This position involves outdoor work.
