For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com.As a Full Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health, you'll provide care to client employees of United Airlines in our Health Center located in Newark, NJ.ScheduleMon - Fri 11:30 am - 8:00 pmPerks & Benefits For Full-Time EmployeesFree Virtual Health Services for Employees and Their Dependents – Convenient, no-cost virtual healthcare accessible anytime.Comprehensive Benefits Package – Includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance to support your health and financial security.401(k) Program With Company Match – Build your future with employer-matched retirement savings.Generous Holiday and PTO Program – Enjoy paid holidays, vacation time, and additional PTO to maintain a strong work/life balance.Competitive Pay Aligned With Market Value – Compensation is regularly reviewed to stay competitive within the industry.Work With Airline Staff – Engage in a dynamic and unique work environment interacting daily with airline professionals.Positive, Team-Focused Culture – Supportive leadership and a collaborative environment designed to help you succeed.Paid On-Site Parking – Terminal Parking Pass ProvidedWhat You’ll DoEnsures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practiceDelivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and clientImplements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workersPerforms and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practiceMaintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control proceduresMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date recordsEducates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up careCollaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury preventionAssists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiativesPerforms other duties as assignedWhat You’ll BringCertificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferredCurrently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice requiredCertification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sitesCurrent certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of servicesAt least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinicExperience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
