RR Donnelley’s SAP footprint is focused on core financials and procurement and utilizes interfaces with legacy systems for manufacturing and customer invoicing functionality. The ideal candidate will have hands on materials management configuration, program development, and small-project management skills focused on SAP materials management functionality. ResponsibilitiesDefine application requirements by reviewing requests from our business partners and conducting “solutioning” sessionsWork with legacy systems teams to design, build, test, and implement data exchange interfaces with legacy systemsCreate design and training documentation for new functionality and projectsLead training sessions with users on new functionalityGain user approval by developing system prototypes to present to users for their reviewCommunicate project status by creating written status reports on a predetermined schedule for large development effortsResponsible for the configuration and daily support of the SAP Materials Management modules that are already implemented with a focus on Purchasing and related functionsAssist users in determining the best method for data reporting, either via standard reports, table downloads, ABAP query, or custom programTroubleshoot user issuesResearch in SAP OSS and implementation of OSS notes QualificationsCandidate should possess a 4-year degree in supply chain management, business, computer science or related fieldHands on procurement experience is desiredMinimum three years of SAP ECC Materials Management configuration and implementation experience:SAP MM configuration experience in Purchasing, Inventory ManagementKnowledge of and experience with integration of MM with other SAP modulesKnowledge of and experience with interface design and supportDeep understanding in procurement business processesExperience with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher is requiredExperience with Ariba Procurement application would be a plusExperience with SAP Security would be a plusSAP configuration in MM (Material Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management)Experience with SAP Ariba is a big plusExperience designing, implementing and supporting interfaces with legacy systemsProgram design and testing including requirements gatheringGood written and verbal communication skillsSolid understanding of procurement, actual purchasing experience is a plusStrong problem solving skills, organizational skills, and communication (written and oral) skills Additional InformationRRD's current salary range for this role is $64,000 to $98,400 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
