This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting, financial reporting, and business operations within the construction industry.Main ResponsibilitiesAssist with processing invoices, expenses, and vendor paymentsHelp prepare financial statements and reportsSupport the reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accountsEnter and maintain accurate data in accounting systemsAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesHelp maintain and organize digital and physical financial recordsParticipate in audits by preparing documentation and supporting materialsAssist in analyzing financial data for budgeting and forecastingCollaborate with accounting staff to support daily accounting operationsComplete other accounting or finance-related tasks as assigned by supervisorsQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldInterest in construction, paving, or infrastructure industries is a plusStrong organizational and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Familiarity with accounting systems or software is a plusAttention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationColas Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
