Medical Assistant

Job Description Duties:- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records- Take patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens- Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care- Ensure compliance with infection control protocolsExperience:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of a medical assistant program or certification preferred- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
