P&F (End Finsher)
Position Summary
The P&F End Finisher supports finishing operations for manufactured products. This role involves assisting with various production processes, material handling, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in finishing operations, including:
Painting and paint stenciling
Hydrostatic testing
Phosphating
Drifting and honing
General housekeeping duties
Operate forklifts to:
Move materials throughout the facility
Load and unload material onto racks
Learn and maintain product traceability processes
Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Perform additional duties as assigned
Participate in the team's on-call schedule for weekends and overtime
Education
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
Experience
Entry-level position
No prior experience required
Experience working in shop environment preferred
Working Environment
Work performed in both indoor shop and outdoor yard settings within an industrial facility
Exposure to heavy machinery, moving equipment, and moderate to high noise levels
Shop conditions may include heat, dust, oil, and industrial odors
Yard work involves exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, humidity)
Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Operation of forklifts and material-handling equipment
Mandatory use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, hearing protection)
Must follow all safety procedures and remain alert to surroundings at all times
Reports to: P&F End Finishing Lead
Language and Safety Requirement
Due to the operation of heavy machinery and handling of hazardous materials, employees must demonstrate professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to:
Read and understand chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Follow verbal instructions during safety training and drills
Communicate clearly and effectively in emergency situations
